Al-huda Academy (The Guidance) was established in October 2005, under the patronage of Shaykh Muhammad Saleem Dhorat Hafizahullah. We are currently living in an inspiring and challenging age as a Muslim minority in a non-Muslim country. Our youths are finding it increasingly difficult to relate to their parents, elders and in some cases their Deen. It is becoming apparent that even practicing Muslim youth can be easily overwhelmed and led astray by social and peer pressures. The life of some of our youth are sadly spiralled downwards into freefall, without much control or satisfaction other than in drugs and alcohol. With this as a context Al-huda Academy was established to reviving Deen, in particular the Muslim youth. Al-Huda Academy aims to follow in the footsteps of the Islamic Dawah Academy (Leicester) through serving the needs of the muslim youth and wider community. |
